Apple iPhone 7 display tipped as 4.7-inch 1080p and 5.5-inch 2K display, no iPhone 7 Pro

The month of September is characterized by expectations of a new iteration of iPhone peaks. This year it is no different with leaks about iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus happening at regular intervals. The latest leak is about the alleged screen packages of iPhone 7, and its more endowed version has been splashed all over the web. What has caught the imagination of experts is the information that the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will come with 1080p resolution while the other variant with 5.5-inch LCD is said to be a 2K or 1440p screen. The maker of one of the screen has been JDI while the maker of the other screen is not clear.

JDI has been a regular maker of screens for Apple devices, but the tricky thing is the heavier resolution screen which will take a toll on the battery and will also give the developers a harrowing task of adjusting to the new resolution. However, the source of the leak is a Chinese tech blog, so this news cannot be taken as 100% correct.
