The pre-booking of the JioPhone will start from 5:30 PM today through online and offline retailers. The effective price of the JioPhone is zero, but you will pay to pay 1500 which you will get back three years on returning the phone. If you want to pre-book the JioPhone offline from a retailer, then you can do that too. Just go to a Reliance store or a multi brand smartphone retailer and take the Aadhar card with you. You have to pay Rs. 500 at the time of Pre-booking, the rest while taking the delivery of the handset. The company says that it because to avoid potential misuse of the pre-booking system.

All you need is your Aadhar card to book a JioPhone, if you do not own one, you won’t be able to pre-book the JioPhone. Apart from that, you have to provide your name, address, email-ID and phone number at the time of booking. The pre-booking of the JioPhone is free; there are no charges for it. You only need your identification documents.
Limited Stocks
The Jio has confirmed that the JioPhone will be available on first come first serve. If you book the phone today, you will get the phone first. Because of the limited stocks, the Jio website might stop taking further orders once the stock lasts.
