Notably, Xiaomi has begun flooding the market with its newly launched smartphones. Following the same, its closest competitor Asus too is now gearing up for the same. While Xiaomi introduced Redmi Go as a budget 4G smartphone for masses, Asus has now launched the Asus Zenfone Live L2 with promising specifications.
Asus Zenfone Live L2 Specs, Features
As of now, Asus sells its value for money Zenfone Lite L1 for Rs. 4,999 in India. However, the brand has now silently unveiled the Zenfone Live L2 globally as a successor to the last year’s Live L1.
As for the specs, the Asus Zenfone Live L2 gets a 5.5-inch display with an HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution and a modern 18:9 aspect ratio. The tall aspect ratio helps in achieving a screen-to-body ratio of 82%. Whereas, on the contrary, the Redmi Go still uses an old 16:9 design.
Under the hood, the ZenFone Live L2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory. The storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via a micro-SD card.
In the optics department, the handset gets a single 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture at the rear. Whereas, there’s a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture at the front that comes with several beauty effects andĀ filters.
Furthermore, the L2 runs Android Oreo with the company’s in-house ZenUI 5. A primary 3,000mAh battery backs all of this. Connectivity options on the device include 4G dual-SIMs support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a micro-USB port. Thankfully, there’s also a 3.5mm audio jack present on the device.
As of now, there’s no official word on the pricing and availability of the phone in India. That being said, according to the company, the specifications, and features of Asus ZenFone Live L2 may differ for different markets. However, we expect the company to bring the low-end variant to India with stock Android Go. Stay tuned for more updates.
