A new model from the line-up of Asus Zenfone smartphones is reportedly approved for carrying the newest version of Bluetooth technology – Bluetooth 5.0. This particular Asus smartphone, which is labeled with the model number ZS551KL is likely to be a “Deluxe” or “Pro” variant of the Asus Zenfone 4 series.
Bluetooth 5.0 is the biggest tech-attraction of the year, and several high-end smartphones including Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ (First phones to carry Bluetooth 5.0), followed by OnePlus 5, Mi 6, and Xperia XZ Premium have already been launched with this latest version of Bluetooth. Now it is an ASUS phone with model number ZS551KL is the latest smartphone to get certified for carrying this technology.
As speculations claimed the new generation of Asus Zenfone 4 series is going to be unwrapped next month in an official event, scheduled to take place in Taiwan and Asus is leading the way by baking the latest Bluetooth technology into its upcoming range of Zenfone 4. The image, confirming the certification of the unnamed Asus smartphone is published on the website of Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) – the agency which is accountable for the developing and labeling new Bluetooth technology.
Though the ASUS ZS551KL yet has not listed among the ASUS Zenfone 4 handsets, slated to launch this year, as speculations claimed, it is a high-end variant which most probably will carry a Deluxe or Pro tag. As the Zenfone 3 Deluxe was labeled with a similar model number – ZS550KL (in the US), the alleged device with the model number ZS551KL is expected to be a Zenfone 4 Deluxe model. Though it has yet not been confirmed officially, if things turn real; then Asus will surely get the ball rolling.
As we all know, Bluetooth 5.0 has promised twice speed for data transfer than its previous version, which means Asus Zenfone ‘Pro’ or ‘Deluxe’ is going to be a game changer for the Taiwanese multinational. Moreover, the Bluetooth 5.0 will also have enough bandwidth for supporting two sets of wireless handsets simultaneously which is the most exciting one.
It means if new Asus handset will equip two speakers in two different portions; the users will be facilitated with the option of listening music with the support two headphones concurrently. Likewise, Bluetooth 5 will also privilege the new console of Asus Zenfone 4 with some best upgrades including increased range, high speed, and better broadcast messaging capacity.
However, we need to keep the finger crushed until the Taiwanese multinational doesn’t make any official announcement regarding this.
