Xiaomi is holding an event on July 27 and the company has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi smartphone that is expected to be launched at the event will be Redmi Pro. The name was confirmed by a Weibo post from their official account.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro Specs:
A new leak shows that the Redmi Pro will sport a deca-core MediaTek MT6797M chipset and will have 3GB of RAM. The handset could well have a new MIUI over Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Chinese smartphone was also spotted on Geekbench benchmark (via Mobiltelefon) last week with a score of 1218 in single-core tests and 4183 on a multi-core test.

The listing showed that the Redmi Pro runs Helio X20 processor along with 4GB of RAM. This shows the possibility of two variants. It runs on MIUI on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device is supposed to be the first from Xiaomi to have a dual-camera at the back.
The image that was recently leaked showed the camera setup but the image did not have a fingerprint scanner. This could either mean that the devices does not sport it or that it has one where the home button is. Other specs include 64GB internal memory and 5.5-inch HD display.
Xiaomi Mi Laptop Specs:
Another rumour story linked to this launch event is the Mi laptop. Rumoured to look almost exactly like the MacBook, the first commercial Mi laptop could come with an Intel Core i7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 11 or 13-inch display.
The laptop has a supposedly illuminable Mi logo where the Apple logo in the MacBook is located. The keys on the keyboard appear to be exact replicas. The design also looks like Apple’s trademark spill-proof surface. Just like the Macbook, this one also has a unibody appearance. The event scheduled for Wednesday shall lift the curtains off all the rumours.
