Xiaomi Mi Notebook specs leak show MacBook Air killer at low price

The specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Notebook has come out in another leak which seems to be the final specs. The PowerPoint presentation leaked shows Xiaomi Notebook specs as well price, which apparently was meant to be showcased at Xiaomi’s official launch event July 27.

As the date of one of the most anticipated launch event of the year approaches, rumours are pouring in almost every day. Although Xiaomi hasn’t officially divulged any details about the Xiaomi Notebook, we almost positively know that the company is working on a brand new laptop which will be released soon. The leaked PowerPoint presentation has further strengthened the assumption.

The ppt presentation contains everything from pricing to specifications and even press photographs of the aesthetically designed notebook. Although the PowerPoint presentation does appear to be genuine, its originality can’t be guaranteed as it is not authorized by Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Price and Specs

The Xiaomi Laptop is expected to come in two versions – one flagship model with top-of-the-line specifications and another standard variant with conventional internals. The top end variant is presumed to arrive with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor with four multithreaded cores clocked up to 3.5 GHz combined with NVIDIA GTX 970M 4 GB DDR5 graphics card. The extremely powerful laptop will sport 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB high-speed SSD. The flagship Mi Notebook will also feature a 15.6-inch 4K display.

The standard version will be powered by the Intel Core i5-6200U which has two hyperthreading enabled cores, each running up to 2.8 GHz with Intel HD 520 graphics unit. The laptop will be equipped with 8 GB DDR4 RAM combined with a 256 GB SSD. This model is speculated to come with a smaller 13.3-inch Full HD display.

The top-end model is expected to come at a price tag of 6699 Yuan or about Rs. 66,990 and the standard edition will cost 3999 Yuan or around Rs. 39,990. Although the pricing is pretty reasonable, previous rumours suggested even lower price.
