The German luxury carmaker Porsche launched its latest version Porsche 911 in India on Wednesday.
The luxury car is priced between Rs 1.42 crore and Rs 2.66 crore. The 911 model range includes 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 911 Turbo, 911 Carrera S, and the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.
Just like its predecessor Porsche India will be importing the car from Zuffenhausen, Germany.
It will be retailing the latest model through its dealership in Mumbai, Kochi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
The upcoming 2016 edition of the Porsche 911 will feature new generation bi-turbo charger engines that generate 370 HP and 500 Nm horsepower.
The latest rendition promises to be much faster than its predecessor and comes with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
The 911 Turbo comes with a 3.8-litre twin turbo engine that generates 540 PS and within 2.9 seconds goes from 0 to 100 kmph at a top speed of 318 kmph.
The Carrera S produces maximum power of 420bhp and 500Nm of peak torque, and the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet produces maximum power of 572 bhp. It is carried by a PDK 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Even though many features of the latest version of Porsche remains quite similar to its previous model like the long nose, sloping roof and the short tail.
But the newly model also gets the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a 7-inch infotainment display that not only offers the best in-car connectivity but also allows your smartphones to be connected to the luxury cars.
It also features a luxury cabin and has features that enable the users to raise the ground clearance of the sports car by 10mm.
Along with this, it comes with an option to choose between four positions of the driving modes; Normal, Sport, Sports Plus and Individual.
The latest model of Porsche luxury cars gives a varied option to all the sports car lovers. Along with this it also gets a new GT sports steering wheel, leather trimmed sports seats and twin-spoke alloy wheels of 20-inch.
