It’s time to rejoice Samsung Galaxy A7 users as the Android Marshmallow OTA update has finally started rolling out. It was earlier stated that the latest Android OS update is getting ready for the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 users. The new update brings latest features to the Galaxy A7 smartphones.
Those who haven’t received the OTA update yet can check for the same by going to Settings > About Device > Software Update > Check for Updates. If the update is available for your device, it will show immediately appear on your screen. It is advisable to have a stable internet connection, preferably Wi-Fi since the update size is quite large, and have at least 50 percent of the battery.
The changelog for Samsung Galaxy A7 will bring an updated visual design, a new TouchWiz, enhanced usability, among other features. Users with the update will notice an updated notification panel and system settings. The advanced power saving mode is the new addition to the update that will increase the battery life of the smartphone.

Right now, Android Marshmallow is running on around 13% of the devices. Samsung Galaxy A7 is the latest to join the group. Other names who have received the update include Samsung Galaxy J5, OnePlus 2, Samsung Galaxy S5 (Exynos variant), Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, and a few more.
