Xolo, in the wake of listing its Q900s Plus on the company website at Rs. 8,299 recently, has at long last made the cell phone accessible to purchase at Rs. 7,999 through an e-commerce website. The Xolo Q900s Plus comes as a successor to the Xolo Q900s that was dispatched in July this year.
The smartphone is available in Black color option. It comes up with features of 4.7-inch HD IPS display. The model is powered by 1GB of RAM with the processor of 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core. The latest model from Xolo has an internal storage of 8GB. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Xolo Q900s Plus has a dual-SIM support and comes equipped with 1800 mAh battery. It carries a microSD card slot for expanding the storage facility. Xolo Q900s Plus supports 3G apart from the normal connectivity options of the smartphone. It provides 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
Xolo has not come out with its plans on rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the device. Considering the price of Q900s Plus, it might be a tough period to compete with Xiaomi Redmi 1S since the latter offers slightly better specification with a lower price-tag.
Interestingly, Videocon’s recently launched Infinium Z50 Nova costs Rs. 5,999 and has 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It features 5-inch qHD display and Android 4.4 operating software. Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova has 1900mAh battery alongside 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
