Motorola’s flagship Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones will be rolled out in China starting at 2999 Yuan. The launch will take place early September loaded with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 3.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moreover, the devices are currently available for pre-order in the US.
Available exclusively through US-based mobile carrier Verizon Wireless, to begin with, a network unlocked variant of the devices will be rolled out after few months. The user interface likely to be integrated with Moto Z and Z Force in China will not accompany Google Play Store. Instead of Play Store, both the devices will be shipped with a Chinese app store, which can be accessed directly from the home screen.
Motorola Moto Z Force and Moto Z Specs
On the specifications front, Motorola Moto Z Force will feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display (1440 x 2560 pixels; 535PPI), Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, 4GB RAM with Shatterproof protection. You can expect the device to be available in both 32GB and 64GB internal storage variant.
While the rear camera is equipped with a 21MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and dual-LED flash, the front-facing snapper will offer a 5MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture with the capability to capture FHD videos.
Expected to be powered by a 3500mAh battery, the Motorola Moto Z Force will provide support for fast charging technology, USB On-The-Go in addition to fingerprint and other standard sensors.
Even though the Moto Z offers similar specifications as in Force, the Moto Z features a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display coupled with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing snapper. As per the available reports, the Moto Z will feature a 2600mAh battery, although there is no official confirmation.
Motorola Moto Z Force and Moto Z Price
While the price of the Moto Z will start at 2998 yuan ($448), the Moto Z Force is expected to be available at around 5288 yuan ($790) since the device offers advanced features like shatterproof and water-resistant body.
In a weekly survey conducted by a popular tech news portal, the Moto Z Force bagged the phone of the week ended July 24. With a total of 3,090 people vouching for the upcoming device with 51 percent of vote share, the shatterproof device has beaten Asus Zenfone 3 ZE520KL, Honor 8 and Moto E3.
Combined with the top of the line hardware, durable display, and large battery, the Moto Z Force has clearly won the race with other premium flagship smartphones tailing back. If you look at the survey results, there is a difference of only 50 votes between Asus Zenfone 3 and Honor 8.
