Lenovo to Replace Moto X-Line by New Moto Z Phones

Lenovo is in the process of dumping the  Lenovo to Replace Moto X-Line by New Moto Z Phonesline and instead begin a new Moto line dubbed Moto Z. This news comes on heels of the news that Lenovo is launching the new Moto G phones.

The Moto G versions could be launched later this summer in the US. It will be just before Lenovo unveils the new Moto products at its Tech World Conference in early June.

Motorola had turned upside down the budget Smartphone world with its Moto G version with amazingly powerful specs. With a price tag of less than £200, the Moto G Smartphone became immensely popular and the second generation was an even bigger hit.

However last year version did not match the expectations of the consumers and the price was increased before competition forced the price to settle in between £150-£200

Under Lenovo’s wings, it is a whole new ball game now. The just revealed Lenovo Moto G4 seems to be a significant improvement over last year’s version.

The Moto G fourth generation promises to feature a larger and sharper screen, better performance and customization. The extra money which consumers will have to shell out for the Plus model will not be regretted.

However, the big question is if consumers should upgrade from the Moto G third generation to the fourth generation?

The Moto G4 will feature a massive screen and it will be touching the phablet territory. The screen will be 5.5 inches as compared to the 5-inch screen of the Moto G3. The Moto G4 will be having a 1080p display with a 404 ppi which is a significant upgrade from the 720p screen in the Moto G3.

The higher-end model of the Moto G, Moto G third generation offered a RAM of 2GB to supplement the quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. The Moto G4 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor and 2GB RAM plus 16GB storage.

Also available will be a more powerful version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is available, and so is another with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
