Google is all set to announce the next iteration of Pixel devices in October this year. And now, the Pixel 2 devices have been certified by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). The certification has revealed the fact that the Taiwanese giant HTC is the manufacturer of the upcoming Pixel devices. It is probable that the information of the phone are leaked by the inside men of the agency as it is visible from the pics that it is a screenshot of the phone.
The smartphone comes with a model number G011A, and it has a certification ID NM8G001A. Further, it shows the phone is equipped with Active Edge (HTC proprietary technology HTC Edge Sense) and runs on Android 8.0.1. Moreover, the leaked images also suggest that the smartphone is packed with 64GB of internal storage. It is also said that Google will include the Ambient display feature as well.
To recall, the Pixel devices are subjected to many rumors and leaks along with images of the devices in recent times. The device is expected to sport a 5 inches Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and will mark the debut of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Moreover, the phone is likely to be packed with a 12.3MP rear shooter with F/1.9 aperture and Laser autofocus. The front facing camera is an 8MP shooter with F/2.0 aperture. Needless to mention that the phone will run on latest Android O operating system.
Whereas its bigger sibling Google Pixel XL 2 is expected to be packed with 6 inches 2k AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, Snapdragon 836 chipset coupled with Adreno 540 GPU, Android O, and 4GB RAM, and 32GB/128GB of internal storage. Moreover, the phone is likely to be packed with a 12.3MP rear shooter with F/1.9 aperture and Laser autofocus. The front facing camera is enriched by 8MP optics with F/2.0 aperture.
