Facebook official (beta) app for Windows 10 arrives in Microsoft Store

After a long wait, Facebook has finally released its much-awaited official app for the Windows 10 users. All the users running Windows 10 personal computers and smartphones will now be able to download the Facebook app from the Windows Store.

The news was first released by Windows Central who stated, “It’s time to step aside as Facebook has just rolled out an official app in beta. Should you be rocking Windows 10 or a phone on Windows 10 Mobile, you’ll be able to enjoy Facebook’s new UWP app.”

The Facebook app available till date was developed by the software giant Microsoft and not Facebook. This is the first time Facebook has diverted its attention to the Windows 10 users. The official Facebook app is still in the beta version.

As listed on the Microsoft website, the size of the app is 96.49MB – 104.61MB, and it supports processors like x86 and ARM. At the time of writing this post, the Facebook (beta) app is currently not available.
