Coolpad Note 5 Initial Impressions

Coolpad Note 5 has been launched in India with a 4010mAh battery at Rs. 10,999. During the launch event, the company said that the main attraction of Note 5 is the addition of a large battery. The phone was unveiled by renowned wrestler Great Khali in presence of Coolpad officials.

Coolpad Note 5 will be available via open sale exclusively through Amazon India. This means you can buy at any time without waiting for your clock to tick a particular time. In addition to the large battery, the handset is manufactured using a metal unibody.

According to Coolpad, the fingerprint scanner on the rear side provides a capability to unlock smartphone in 0.5 seconds. The company revealed that the sensor provides support for gesture shortcuts including both right and left-hand content input.

Coolpad Note 5 Specifications

On the specifications front, the Coolpad Note 5 features a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D Curved Glass display, Snapdragon 617 processor, Adreno 405 graphics, and 4GB RAM. With a pixel density of 401PPI, the Note 5 is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of Cool UI 8.0. The Coolpad Note 5 ships with 32GB default storage. However, You will be able to expand the storage up to 64GB.

Talking about the camera, the newly launched dual-SIM Coolpad Note 5 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash. The integration of an 8MP front-facing snapper is an added advantage. Moreover, the front camera offers its own LED flash module and a smart beautification feature.

You should note that the Note 5 ships with hybrid SIM slot. This implies that you can make use of the second SIM card slot for both SIM and microSD card. Coolpad Note 5 comes in Noble Black and Champagne Gold color variants with all major connectivity features such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, and others.
