Coolpad Note 5 with 4GB RAM launching in India today: Specs, price and more

Coolpad is all set to take the wraps off its next smartphone Coolpad Note 5 in India on September 30. The company has been teasing the smartphone for quite some time now, and the recent teaser image released by Coolpad says, “Beast among the best.” The company has started sending out media invites for the same.

Though Coolpad hasn’t stated the device name but all the teasers bear the number 5 which sort of confirms the smartphone name.

Coolpad Note 5 Specifications and Price

Coming on the Coolpad Note 5 specifications, the smartphone will most likely feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 clocked at 1.5GHz. Coupled with it is a 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool 8 UI on top.

The camera details of the phone are not clear yet. It would most likely sport a 13MP or 16MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera on top of the display. A flash at the front is highly anticipated. The 4G LTE smartphone will come with VoLTE support. There is no detail on its battery capacity. The price is expected to be affordably priced at under Rs. 10,000.

A while back, Coolpad launched the Mega 2.5D in India priced at Rs. 6,999. It boasts a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen, quad-core MediaTek processor, 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. The phone is equipped with a front and back camera of 8MP and a 2500mAh battery.
