Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus photo leak reveals bigger, dual camera setup

So far, there have been a significant number of leaks regarding iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The rumor mills are working 24*7 and there are speculations which will only subside once the phone is officially out. Now, recent photo leaks have revealed interesting camera details.

According to the photos shared by Steve Hemmerstoffer, a noted tipster, the back will still have a camera bump which will be surrounded by a protective ring. The leaked photos show the rear panel and the bottom portion of the upcoming ‘iPhone 7’.

Some industry experts are commenting that the new iPhone will come in with a larger CMOS sensor and the leaked photos are apparently in-sync with this rumor. In the photo, the camera lens appears a little bigger than the previous version and is embedded at the corner.

Interestingly, there have also been rumors which indicated that the iPhone 7 Plus will be equipped with two rear cameras and in addition, the leaked photos are hinting towards the absence of a 3.5mm jack. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus seem to have protective rings surrounding the protruding lenses of the cameras.

While Hemmers offer’s photos portray that the 3.5 mm headset jack won’t be present in the upcoming device, a separate leak from ‘Weibo’ tells a different story. However, the recent photos of the bottom part show two separate speakers grills which means that maybe like Android, Apple might have decided to render dual-speakers in the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Adding to the mystery are reports that Apple might offer wireless headphones as well which makes sense because if the headphone jack is missing in the iPhone 7, wireless headphones will be the only potent option for listening to songs or making calls.

So far, there are countless speculations with respect to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which means this is just not the time to be conclusive or concrete when it comes to device’s hardware. For now, waiting for new (and detailed) leaks seems like the best option.
