Earlier this month, Xiaomi announced that it had sold over 6,00,000 units of the Redmi Note 3 in just its flash sales. The best seller seemed to go out of stock in no more than 10 seconds across all flash sales. The open sale of the device will allow aspirants to freely purchase the device, especially if they couldn’t do so during the earlier sales.
The Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants – 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM (Rs. 9,999) and 32GB of storage with 3GB of RAM (Rs. 11,999). Both variants come along with a 5.5” IPS LCD touchscreen and house a Snapdragon 650 chipset. The phone is powered by a 4000mAh battery and sports a 16MP rear shooter and 5MP front lens.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and houses 3GB of RAM. The phone offers 32GB of internal storage that is not expandable, comes with a 5.15” full-HD display screen and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with support for QuickCharge 3.0.
The Mi 5 also comes along with a fingerprint sensor on the front face of the phone with a 4MP lens and houses a 16MP camera with OIS at the rear. The phone ships with Android’ds Marshmallow 6.0 preloaded onto it that runs MIUI 7 atop it.
