The fast-growing Chinese conglomerate Xiaomi had announced the Mi Bluetooth Speaker earlier this month. It’s now available exclusively on the official site for Rs. 1,999. The speaker is available in an array of vibrant colors – pink, blue and gold.
The design of the Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth speaker is like a compact pencil box and weighs just about 270 grams. The matte-finished aluminium case gives a premium feel to the device. The Mi Bluetooth speaker, which is claimed to be ‘for the true audiophile’ can deliver a loud stereo experience up to 90 dbA at half a meter with adjustments to prevent distortions at elevated volumes.
Each of the two speaker units present in the Mi Bluetooth Speaker uses a 36mm NdFeB magnets paired with Ferrotec Ferrofluid cooling technology and an anodized oxide aluminum alloy diaphragm for a richer audio experience. Xiaomi, is all about flagship material (like the Snapdragon 820 in the Mi5), thereby, it uses the Flagship Amplifier SoC Avnera AV 3102 to drive the speakers! It also has an Integrated Bass Radiator.
The Mi Bluetooth Speaker, with its built-in microphone, enables multi-tasking by allowing the users to launch hands-free mode at the push of a button after it has automatically paused the music. The speaker contains a 1500mAh battery which can power the device for up to 8 hours of continuous music playback. It also features a 3.5mm auxiliary input. Sadly, the Indian variant of speaker lacks a microSD card slot and FM Radio.
The users who have picked up the recently launched Redmi Note 3 from the flash sales are in for a treat! The company is offering flip covers and hard cases in orange, black and blue color options to dress up the device.
The Black Mi Band with white LED and Mi In-Ear Headphones for Rs 799 and Rs 999 respectively. The earphones come with an in-line microphone with buttons to answer the call or for controlling the volume.
