Registration opens for Redmi Note 3 second sale on March 16 at Amazon

Xiaomi has started registration for the second flash sale of Redmi Note 3, which will be held on March 16. The phone was launched last week and in the first sale, the phone units were sold out faster than expected.

There are two variants of the phone, with 2GB and 3GB RAM. The 2GB RAM model has 16GB internal storage and is retailing at Rs. 9,999, while the 3GB RAM model has 32GB internal storage and is selling at Rs 11,999.

Redmi Note 3 has a metal body with a smooth texturing to make look premium and expensive while at the same time, giving it the ability to withstand accidental falls.

It has a 5.5-inch full HD screen that has 401-density pixel per inch (PPI). It has been equipped with Sunlight Display technology which allows it to adjust its brightness according to the surrounding lighting It also has a Night Display mode which enables it to control Blue light emission with the aim of preventing eye strain while using it during the night.

The phone has been fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa-core processor which is backed up by 3GB RAM. It also has Adreno 510 graphics engine that displays quality graphics. With this power, users can open multiple apps simultaneously, without having to worry about the phone hanging. They can also play high intensive games without the phone overheating.

Redmi Note 3 have been fitted with a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the rear side, below the camera module for easy access. The sensor itself has a 0.3 seconds response time. Alongside the sensor, the phone is supported by an internal Qualcomm Secure Execution Environment firmware. This prevents anyone from copying or accessing fingerprint detail. Users can also lock individual apps with fingerprint security feature by use of MIUI 7.0.

The device has also integrated VoLTE (Voice-over-LTE), a feature that helps the phone to receive High-Density voice call. The device also supports all four Indian LTE spectrum bands – 3, 5, 40 and 41 meaning users can get the best network signals across the region.
