Xiaomi Mi5 and Redmi Note 3 will be available to purchase without registrations from today. Those wishing to make the purchase can do so at Xiaomi India’s Official Website. The Mi 5 will be available for a price of Rs. 24,999 whereas the Redmi Note 3 with 16GB of internal storage will cost Rs. 9,999 and the variant with 32GB of internal storage will be available for Rs. 11,999.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 was launched as a premium phone during the MWC 2016 event, with flash sales in India before being made available without registrations. The phone is fashioned with a ceramic body that sports curved edges, comes along with a 5.5” IPS display screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The phone houses 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage, which is fired by a 3,000mAH battery. The Mi 5 has a 16MP camera at the back with Optical Image Stabilization as well as a 4 MP camera on the front. Supported by QuickCharge 3.0 you’ll find that charging the device is a breeze. The phone will ship with Android’s Marshmallow 6.0 preloaded onto it and will run a custom skin MIUI 7 atop it.
The Redmi Note 3 is an entry level device which will be available in 2 variants, one with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage and the other with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both feature a 5.5” full HD display screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 chipsets and come along with a whopping 4,000mAh battery. The phones have a 16MP camera on the rear along with a 5MP camera on the front face.
