Apple is scheduled to launch iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India on October 7. The new Apple iPhone 7 handsets will be available via online retailers and Apple authorized retail shops across the country from 7 PM IST. Hence, you need not have to wait in long queues like in the US for early morning purchase.
The main attraction of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is the elimination of the traditional headphone jack. You will find lightning port connector instead of the headphone jack. However, to avoid disappointment Apple is providing a Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter with each phone inside each product package.
iPhone 7 specifications
On the specifications front, the iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 750×1334 pixels. The phone offers a pixel density of 326PPI with a wide color gamut. The iPhone comes with the latest Apple A10 fusion processor coupled with the M10 motion coprocessor.
While the rear camera features a 12-megapixel sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and a six-element lens. Moreover, the camera also includes features such as optical image stabilization, a Quad-LED True Tone flash, and sapphire crystal lenses cover.

You will be able to buy iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage capacities. While the 32GB iPhone 7 is priced at Rs. 60000, the 128GB will be available at Rs. 70000. If you want a higher storage capacity, you can look at 256GB for Rs. 80000.
When it comes to premium iPhone 7 Plus, you will have to shell out extra cash. The 32GB variant of iPhone 7 Plus is priced at Rs. 72000. If you want 128GB and 256GB storage models, you will have to shell out Rs. 82000 and Rs. 92000 respectively.
You can buy both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in Gold, Jet Black, Matte Black, Rose Gold, and Silver color variants in India. However, the Jet Black color is reserved for higher storage models.
