Sony launches new range of EXTRA BASS Bluetooth Headphones Starting Rs. 7,990

Sony has launched a new Extra Bass Bluetooth headphone – MDR-XB650BT in three color variants at Rs. 7990. Designed with portability in mind, the new MDR-XB650BT brings uncompromising sound quality with a high level of Bass including aesthetic design and an urban appeal.

In sharp contrast to the previously released Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones, the MDR-XB650BT comes with a 30mm driver with a frequency response of up to 20000Hz. Moreover, the structure has been incorporated with additional padding for added comfort including a dedicated EXTRA BASS diaphragm, which gives a real feel of bass to end users.

To simplify the audio experience, Sony has integrated One-touch Bluetooth connection in MDR-XB650BT, while the music playback is offered via NFC. With support for AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs, the headphone offers a premium audio quality sound even in wireless mode.

According to official sources, the MDR-XB650BT Bluetooth headphone is specifically designed to enhance the playback by generating a deep bass when listening to any audio.

The headphone is equipped with an increased contact surface area to achieve a stable fit, which is capable of withstanding the punchy and deep bass notes.

Integrated with soft texture ear pads, which fits closely to the skin, the MDR-XB650BT headphone provides excellent wearing comfort and reliable sound. Moreover, users will be able to store and carry the headphone easily because of its flat swivel structure design.

On the specification front, the MDR-XB650BT Bluetooth headphone offers an impedance of 24ohms, 95dB/mW sensitivity powered by a DC3.7V Li-ion rechargeable battery (via USB), which is capable of delivering a maximum of 30 hours playback time.

The MDR-XB650BT Bluetooth headphone comes bundled with a 0.5m microUSB Cable and is available in all Sony Center and major electronic stores across India.

Previously, Sony had launched a wide range of headphones tagged with Extra Bass. The most recent release was that of MDR-XB450 headphone in 2014.
