Recently, Sony posted an image of the new Xperia E5 on its Facebook page, which could possibly be the next smartphone to come out of the company’s stable. As mentioned in the post, the forthcoming Sony device will hold all the essential features and specifications.
Sony’s Facebook page reads:
Eager, effortless, and easy on the eye – it’s everything a smartphone should be. Say hello to your savvy new sidekick, Xperia E5.
Users, who have switched to the Facebook page of Sony, will not be able to find this post right now as Sony has deleted it.
For now, no other information about its specifications and features are available, but speculations are rife that it is the same Sony F3311 spotted on the GFXBench listing last month. The benchmark listing reveals that the F3311 houses a 4.6-inch 720p display, 1.5GB RAM, MediaTek chipset MT6735 powering the device and 16GB inbuilt storage.
The device is expected to be priced in the mid-range segment, considering the specifications. There is no official word from Sony yet but since the company has started teasing the device, the release should be around the corner.
Meanwhile, pre-registrations are on for the Xperia X and Xperia XA devices. Interested customers can visit the website and sign up to know about the release details, price, availability, and more.
