Reliance Jio-Samsung team up to offer free unlimited data and calls: How to get it

Samsung Electronics and Reliance Jio have collaborated to offer unlimited calls, data and premium applications to Samsung smartphone users completely free of cost for three months.

According to sources close to the Technology Personalized, Samsung smartphone buyers are eligible for the Jio Preview Offer which will provide them with a Reliance Jio SIM free of cost. Using which, they can avail unlimited voice calling, messages and data for a period of three months without any charges.

It is the first time the Reliance Jio is being made available other than the company’s own range of Lyf smartphones. Till now, Reliance Jio can only be used exclusively from Reliance Lyf smartphones. This offer can be utilized not only by the new users but also by the existing users having eligible smartphones from Samsung.

How to avail the offer:

To avail the offer, MyJio app needs to be installed to the eligible Samsung device. A coupon will be generated by clicking Get Jio SIM button. After that, submission of an appropriate address and ID proof is required to successfully complete the registration for the Jio SIM. Subsequently, the SIM card needs to be collected from a Reliance Store by presenting the necessary documentations. Finally after activating the SIM by dialing 1977, the Jio Preview offer can be availed from the installed MyJio application.

Users of qualifying Samsung smartphones will be able to experience unlimited video calling and HD voice calling, unlimited high-speed data, unlimited messages and a number of premium apps by Jio, which includes JioOnDemand, JioMags, JioDrive, JioMoney, JioPlay and more for three months with no cost whatsoever.
