Panasonic has launched its new smartphone P75 at a price of Rs. 5,990. The device will be available in two colors: Champagne gold and Sand Black. The device comes bundled with a protective screen guard.
The highlight of the budget smartphone is the large 5000mAh battery. The likes of Asus ZenFone Max (2016) that have a similar battery capacity are priced around Rs 9,999. This phone aims to offer a higher level set of features at the price of budget phones.
As fancy as smartphones may be these days, they turn to ash when their batteries run dry. While there are many ways to grab a quick charge, one is always better off if their handset battery lasts longer. If longer hours of performance is what one seeks from their phone, this one looks like just the one.
The dual-SIM P75 runs on Sail UI with Android 5.1 Lollipop and features a 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 8MP/5MP camera. Here is the full list of specs:

The handset has 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity options along with GPS. This device launch comes after the company’s previous launch Eluga A2 last month. Smartphones may not be the company’s forte, but such frequent launches indicate some intent from the company. The Chinese counterparts like Xiaomi seem to be their biggest competition if this is the case.“With the increased usage of smartphones nowadays, we offer our consumers a long lasting 5000mAH battery smartphone capable of turn-by-turn navigation as well, thereby assisting our consumers on the go.” said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.
