Those who have been holding off their purchase of the OnePlus 6 will have a nice colour option to choose from, Silk White. The company however said its not going to be available right away but from June 5, Times Now reported.

The said colour option will also complete the colour triad that the company had stated the phone will be available in during launch, the others being Midnight Black and Mirror Black. However, black happens to be the most common colour so far as smartphones are concerned and unfortunately, that was also the only option users had so far for an otherwise extremely desirable phone.

Also, the new OnePlus 6 donning a shade of Silk White will be identical to the others in its class, which includes the rear made of glass. The basic method of applying the paint will also be the same, which includes using six different layers of glass to make the rear have a smooth flowing look and feel to it.

That is not all though as the colour also gets a fair amount of pearl powder to make the shade have a shimmering effect to it as well. Further, the sides and other bits such as the rear fingerprint sensor has been done up in shades of gold that further adds to the phone’s appeal. The company logo at the rear also bears a golden colour ascent , as does the rim surrounding the rear camera housing.

OnePlus 6 is being sold in India via the company’s own website while Amazon happens to be the exclusive retail partner for the device. Also, the Silk White colour option will be applicable to the model that comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. OnePlus had earlier promised to make available all three colour choices for the OnePlus 6 and it is good to see the company sticking to it.

Also, do check out the Amazon page for the device for all applicable discounts and related stuff. That includes a cashback offer amounting to Rs. 2000 when purchased using a Citibank Credit and Debit card.
