Apple is gearing up to release MacBook Pro 2016 early on account of the sales drop. According to sources, Apple suffered an 8.3 percent decline in the overall sales of its products, and the introduction of a brand new MacBook Pro 2016 is the only way forward to address the loss.
The latest report released by IDC revealed the fact that Apple shipped 4.4 million PCs worldwide in Q2 2016 compared to 4.8 million during the same quarter cycle last year. With HP, Dell, Acer posted double-digit growth in the overall PC shipment, Lenovo also experienced a small drop in the shipments. When compared with all laptop manufacturers, Apple is trailing behind to occupy a dominant position on the market.
MacBook Pro 2016: Release date
Even though there is no official confirmation from the company, few sources report that MacBook Pro will be released in November 2016 around Thanksgiving Day. However, there are speculations that Apple will launch the new device alongside iPhone 7 in September.

MacBook Pro 2016: Display and OLED bar
On the specifications front, the MacBook Pro 2016 will feature a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels including the addition of an OLED bar on the top of the keyboard. According to rumors, the new laptop will also be available in a 15.6-inch variant of even higher resolution.
The main function of the OLED bar is to assist users in accessing a wide range of software and apps. Recently, images of the upcoming MacBook Pro chassis with OLED bar were revealed by a popular tech portal.
Martin Hajeck, a popular Mac user, revealed a wide range of concept series based on the OLED touch panel. We can see several icons with backlight, which when pressed will perform the required action on the display panel. If the leaked images are true, you can expect integration of dual speakers on the left and right-hand side.
MacBook Pro 2016: Skylake processor and NFC
As far as internals are concerned, the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be powered by Intel’s Skylake processor with an integrated near-field communication (NFC) chip, which not only performs faster but also improved battery life to a large extent.
MacBook Pro 2016: Removal of Headphone
Apple will most likely eliminate the usage of 3.5 mm headphone jack in the new MacBook Pro. As a replacement, you can expect the addition of a USB-C port, which can not only be used for fast charging purpose but also for sending files and also as an audio port. Moreover, the device will be equipped with a Touch ID.
MacBook Pro 2016: Cellular Connectivity
As per a patent application filed by Apple on May 24, 2016, the new MacBook is expected to ship with 4G capability. This means you can insert the SIM card and use the laptop as a smartphone and for browsing when on the go.
In the meantime, retailers have been slashing prices of MacBook Pro to attract students. As part of the latest deal, the eligible students will be able to receive a $100 discount on an Apple MacBook Pro with Intel Core i5 13.3-inch Retina display priced at $1099.
