In continuation of its attempts to create a buzz for its upcoming flagship V20, LG has released another teaser. The statement said that the device would have a particular feature that will set it apart from the others in its league. It will be the first device to feature a 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC. This means that the audio from the wired headphones will be as close to live hearing as they get (crisp and clear) with compatible headphones.
The previous teaser revealed that this would be the first phone to feature Android Nougat 7.0. The device is also expected to retain the second screen feature that was found in the V10, as well as a dual-camera system that is said to be similar to the LG G5.
LG V20 Release Date and Features
The LG V20 will be launched on September 6th in Seoul, South Korea. There have been no images released by the company officially but there have been renders revealing a big bulge because of the rear camera.
Officially the specs haven’t been released, but there have been speculations and rumors. A Quad HD display is likely to feature in the device. The device is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 or 821 processor and come paired with 4GB of RAM. As mentioned earlier, it could also have the dual-camera setup just like the G5. USB Type-C port isn’t hard to imagine, either.
Coming to one one of the main features, the secondary display in the dual display device will be ticker-tape in nature. The large display will ensure minimum bezels. The power button with the fingerprint sensor could remain to be on the rear, whereas the volume buttons may be on the left.
The rendered images also suggest that the handset is going to be 7.7 mm thick. The camera bulge could be as much as 1.1 mm, providing extra protection for both the lenses. The height including the bezels is said to be 159.5 mm and width 78.1 mm. This is a slight variation from its predecessor v10.
The rumors are not far from dry, but LG has been successful in creating the buzz that they need for a flagship. The advent of Nougat with this device is certainly something to look forward to.
