iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus price slashes in India by a huge margin of Rs. 22,000

Apple has slashed the prices for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in India by up to Rs. 22000. The iPhone 6s with 128GB internal storage, which was previously priced at Rs. 82000 will now be available for Rs. 60000. This gives the phone a price cut of Rs. 22000.

On the other hand, the iPhone 6s Plus with 128GB storage is now available at Rs. 70000 when compared to the previous rate of Rs. 92000. This gives the handset the same price cut as iPhone 6s.

iPhone SE price slashed

In the raging price cut war, Apple has not spared iPhone SE. The 64GB storage variant of iPhone SE, which was priced massively at Rs. 49000 is now available for Rs. 44000. This gives the smartphone a total price cut of Rs. 5000.

Improved iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launched

On September 7, Apple launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the US. The new handsets feature enhanced camera systems, improved battery life, stereo speakers and two new finishes. Moreover, the newly launched iPhone 7 is water and dust resistant. This is for the first time in the history of iPhone, Apple has integrated water-resistant capabilities.

iPhone 7 available from September 16

The newly launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in more than 25 countries starting September 16. In India, the new headsets will be officially launched on October 7. It seems that Apple has struck to the “7” as the official launch date in both the US and India.

Apple ditched 16GB storage with iPhone 7

Available in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and the new black finish color variants, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Apple has ditched the 16GB storage model to accommodate 32GB. The rumor of Apple making the 32GB as default internal storage variant surfaced during early 2016 and it was found out to be true.

During the launch event, Apple also unveiled the new wireless AirPods and a new charging case, which will be available from October. Moreover, the company also launched several Apple Watch 2 series loaded with watchOS3.

Apple also eliminated the traditional headphone jack in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. The company has bundled EarPods with Lightning Connector and a Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter with the product package.

On the accessories front, Apple has launched new leather and silicone cases, a smart battery case for iPhone 7 and lightning docks in various color variants in a metallic finish.
