Apple iPhone 7 launch date confirms, Apple sends out press invite for September 7 event

Apple iPhone 7 launch date is official now. The Cupertino-based giant is sending out media invites for September 7 event where it is expected to launch the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (may be iPhone 7 Pro as well) which will be accompanied by Apple Watch 2. Besides smartphone and wearable, Apple is likely to unveil a refreshed MacBook Pro lineup. The iPhone 7 launch event will take place in San Francisco at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 10 a.m. PT.

If the rumors are to be believed, the upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus won’t be a major overhaul in terms of design. Rumor mills indicate that the forthcoming smartphone would be devoid of a 3.5mm headphone jack and have an improved camera. The rumors have been widespread that the bigger iPhone 7 Plus would pack a dual camera setup and a LED Flash at front.

Another set of leaks reveals that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will boast 4.7-inch 1080p and 5.5-inch 2K display. The front of the smartphone will do away with the traditional home button and will be replaced with the Touch-enabled home button. According to industry experts, Apple is saving bigger innovations in 2018 for its 10th anniversary.

Another rumor doing the rounds is the Dual SIM capability on iPhone 7 series. Considering high-end smartphones offering dual SIM facility, it is highly anticipated on the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Another highly awaited product is the upgraded version of Apple Watch, the Apple Watch 2. A fresh round of leaks suggest 35% bigger battery than the first-gen Apple wearable, GPS, and barometer. The smartwatch is expected to sport rectangular dial with a micro-LED display, while the connectivity options coming with the smartwatch are inbuilt 4G LTE capability.

The company might unveil new 13-inch and 15-inch variants of its MacBook Pro range with Retina display. We expect the upcoming MacBook Pro to be thinner and lighter with smaller bezels and a compact overall frame. Apple is also expected to add four USB Type-C ports, and will be powered by Intel’s Skylake processors. There have been reports of Touch ID sensor on the new MacBook Pro, the integration of which ID would allow users to unlock the laptop without password.Things
