The latest iOS 10 update is out for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users across the globe. The upgrade, as Apple says, is the best ever released till date as it adds a host of features like improved UI, Maps, Photos, Messages, Siri integration to third-party apps and more. The company is sending out OTA updates, but you can also do a manual search for the new iOS 10.

The iOS 10 update size is 1.1GB, so we would suggest you upgrade your phone on Wi-Fi connection. Make sure that your battery is charged at least 70% so that it is downloaded and installed without hiccups. Follow the following steps to update your iPhone to iOS 10:

Go to Settings > General > Software Update
Click on Download and Install iOS 10
Once downloaded, it will ask you to install the update
Follow the instructions for the final step up and you’re ready to use the update

The new iOS 10 adds a personal touch to your messages. Send sketches, heartbeats and more with iOS 10 and draw over videos. Siri support is extended to more apps (third—party developers). Now book a cab, send money to friends through the virtual assistant. Apple Music has been redesigned and its now easy to find music. The redesigned app offers a bright and simplistic aesthetic along with a new Library launch tab on the bottom left.

iPhone users now have the option to remove unnecessary apps from iPhone. These apps will only be removed, not uninstalled so don’t expect more space on your smartphone. Another major update is the iMessage, which supports live GIF and video playback. Now messages take the full screen to celebrate special moments. Emojis have become bigger, and new chat bubbles have come into the picture. Other redesigned apps list includes Maps, Home app, News, Photos, and more.
