Korean giant Hyundai might soon bring a face-lifted version of its popular hatchback i10 in India. The first spy shots of the facelifted version of the Grand i10 have surfaced on the Internet. While rumors of the Grand i10 facelift have been doing rounds for quite some time now. However, this is apparently the first time that the revamped avatar of the popular hatchback has been spied testing and caught on camera. The Grand i10 has reportedly been spotted testing on the streets of Chennai.
If the reports turn out to be true, this will be the first major upgrade for the B-segment hatchback from the Korean manufacturer since its launch in India back in 2013. The face-lifted version of the Grand i10 could also be launched in the country by the end of this year.

According to images shared on the web, the vehicle was seen decked in a camouflage avatar, which suggests that key changes might have been made to these camouflaged parts. And delving a bit deeper, images shared suggest the size and dimensions of the facelift version of the Grand i10 will be similar to the current model along with the design. That said, we can expect the facelifted Grand i10 to get styling updates such as revamped front fascia along with a redesigned rear bumper.
In addition, we can also expect the car’s interiors to get overhauled. The face-lifted Grand i10 could get new upgrades such as a brand new touchscreen infotainment system. We can also expect next-gen Grand i10’s diamond cut alloys to flaunt a new design and some new trims as well.
Under the hood, the forthcoming Grand i10 is expected to retain the same engine found on current generation models of the hatchback. Existing models of Hyundai’s Grand i10 come with a 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine that can churn out 82 bhp and 116 Nm. While its diesel variant gets powered by a 1.1-litre three cylinder U2 VGT motor engine that produces 70 bhp of power and 163 Nm of torque. Besides, rumors of the Grand i10 getting an automated transmission variant have also been popping up. However, there is no confirmation whether the new face-lifted model will get the same automatic variant.
Launched in 2013, the Grand i10 is the company’s highest selling model in India. Thanks to the combination of affordability and features, the hatchback has struck a chord with the Indian consumer. We hope the face-lifted version lives up to the benchmarks set by the current generation i10.
