Huawei G9 Plus has been launched with a Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB RAM starting at RMB 2399. The handset comes with a 3340mAh battery. Huawei G9 Plus features a 16MP OIS rear camera with 4K video recording support and 8MP front-facing snapper. The device is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of EMUI 4.1 coupled with a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Based on the specifications, the Huawei G9 Plus looks similar to that of Huawei Maimang 5 released by the Chinese smartphone major in July 2016. Even though the registrations for the device have been already started, the G9 Plus will be available for sale from August 25. The 3GB RAM variant is priced at RMB 2399 ($360). However, the cost of 4GB model is not yet revealed by the company.
Absence of dual camera
Upon inspecting the official launch invitation, we suspected that the G9 Plus smartphone will be integrated with a dual-camera on the rear. However, the device is a successor to the Huawei G9 Lite, which is the same device that was sold in foreign markets as Huawei P9 Lite. Huawei G9 Plus comes with Aluminum build unibody design and has rounded corners.

On the specifications front, the G9 Plus features a 5.5-inch FHD in-cell 2.5D curved display, Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, Adreno 506 graphics, 16MP rear camera paired with an 8MP front-facing snapper.
While the 3GB RAM is integrated with 32GB internal storage, the 4GB RAM is equipped with 64GB storage. You will be able to expand the storage to up to 128GB using MicroSD card slot.

The rear camera comes with autofocus, OIS, and PDAS including the ability to record 4K videos. The smartphone also comes bundled with a wide range of shooting modes with which you will be able to add different effects to the photos captured using the device.
Powered by a 3340mAh battery, the Huawei G9 Plus is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of EMUI 4.1. According to Huawei, the device has the capability to deliver three days of battery life upon normal usage.
With a weight of 160 grams, the G9 Plus provides support for all major connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Huawei G9 Plus Pricing
As of writing this, the 3GB RAM variant of the Huawei G9 Plus is priced at 2399 Yuan. However, we don’t have any information and availability of the 4GB RAM variant. The device will be available for sale in China starting August 25. It remains to be seen as to when Huawei will launch the device in India.
