Google Pixel XL price tipped ahead of official launch

Google’s upcoming Pixel phones have been trending in the rumor mill for quite some time now. And a new report now suggests that the higher-end variant of the rumored Pixel XL smartphone will be priced at $649. Though it’s still unclear what storage you’ll get for the above-mentioned price.

Google is soon expected to launch the HTC-made Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Several reports suggest that there will be no 64GB variant of the Pixel phones as the company is said to launch only the 32GB and 128GB storage models. As of now, there’s no information about the pricing of the smaller Pixel model. Though, it’s rather evident that it’ll be priced lower than its high-end Pixel XL sibling. Some sources also claim that Google will offer finance options on its smartphone lineup starting this year onwards.

Google Pixel XL Price (Expected)

If the report turns out to be true, it will bring the Pixel XL in line with last year’s Nexus 6P, which was also priced at $649 for the 128GB model. However, this could also be the price tag for its base 32GB model, pitting it against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL Specifications

The upcoming Pixel and Pixel XL are said to be Google’s latest flagships smartphones featuring top-of-the-line specifications. The smaller Pixel is expected to pack a 5-inch Full HD display, while the higher-end Pixel XL is said to get a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. Both devices are expected to get Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 processor bundled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.

Google Pixel 7P Android Tablet Specifications

Besides, several reports also suggest that Google is prepping a 7-inch Huawei-made Android tablet. The device is expected to be called the Google Pixel 7P, given the fact that Huawei registered for a trademark ‘7P’ earlier this year. In terms of specs, sources suggest that the tablet will pack a 7-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor bundled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The tablet is also expected to get a 13MP rear-facing camera.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL Release Date

Google is expected to hold a major hardware event on October 4, where it is expected to announce the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. In addition, the company might also announce the rumored 7-inch Huawei-built at the event, along with a new Chromecast capable of 4K playback, Google Home, and the DayDream VR headset.
