The Taiwanese giant Asus has announced the next gen ROG G701 gaming laptop in India. The ROG G701 laptop comes with a 4k UHD display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology which offers incredibly smooth, tear free gameplay at the highest refresh rate possible i:e 240Hz. Notably, The ROG (Republic of Gamers) is a gaming series line up introduced by Asus way back in the year 2014.
Coming to the specifications, the ROG G701 laptop sports a Bio-armour design which allows this machine to withstand normal shock and wears. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic card. The laptop is equipped with an 8GB of GDDR5X memory and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory clocked at 2800MHz.
Moreover, the laptop also comes with Trinity Display Technology which offers 4K2K output to deliver three displays simultaneously using HDMI and Thunderbolt. The G701 is also packed with a dedicated gaming button for managing multiple games profiles, calibrating system components, Audio equalizer setting, and the Internet packet prioritization.
On the audio front, the ROG G701 laptop is equipped with an ESS audio DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) which offers immersive audio output. The laptop comes with an anti-ghosting keyboard with 30-key rollover technology that provides total gaming control. The G701 comes in a two colors variants like Armour Titanium and Plasma Copper, and it’s priced at Rs. 3,49,990.
To recall, Asus has recently unveiled the multiple ranges of gaming laptop under ROG series at IFA 2017. The Asus ROG Chimera is the world’s first gaming laptop to offers 17.3 inches 1080p wide-view display with G-SYNC technology to provide a 144Hz refresh rate and 7ms response time. The laptop is packed with Intel Core i7-7820HK SoC that offers a blistering 4.3GHz of clock speed and paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU.
