Just as promised, the Cupertino-based giant has increased the battery capacity on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and it is now 14% bigger than the previous gen iPhone 6 series. The iPhone 7 battery stands at 1,960 mAh, which is 245mAh bigger than the iPhone 6s battery of 1,715 mAh. The bigger iPhone 7 Plus houses a bigger battery of 2,900 mAh battery, which is 150mAh bigger than the iPhone 6s Plus. The exact figure leaked out on TENAA, a Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center that enjoys same stature as FCC in the US.
