Bharti Airtel has come up with a new offer “data pack” to remain ahead in the competition after rumors of Reliance much-anticipated 4G services “Jio” to be launched in India soon. The telecom giant Airtel announced the “Happy Hour” offer which will give 50 percent data pack to all its prepaid customers.
Under this offer, the customers downloading all in-app content between 3.00 am and 5.00 am will get 50 percent data backup. So if a user is downloading a 100MB video during the “Happy Hours” will get 50 MB credited back in their accounts after 6:00 am every day. This offer will come as a good news for all the app developers who will avail the initiative to download at the given time without having to pay for this feature.
The “Happy Hour” initiative also has other offers like for all the Airtel customer who does not have a data pack the company during the happy hour will give a discounted volume based charge of 0.4 Paisa/10Kb. On the other hand, it will provide an option to users to choose the Smart offline option in Youtube. The users can download the video by selecting the save overnight with Airtel Happy Hours between 3.00 am and 5.00 am.
