Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 9 Global beta version for third batch of smartphones

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has rolled out the beta version of MIUI 9 Global version for its third batch of smartphones.  The details of the roll out are currently available on a MIUI forums website. Xiaomi has rolled out the update for a total of 25 smartphones which are as follow: Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note, Redmi 3, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2. The Redmi 1S, Redmi 1, Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 2/2S, Mi Pad 3, Mi Pad 2, Mi Pad 1, Redmi Pro, Redmi Note 4X MTK, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi 4, Redmi 3S/3X.

To get this update on the devices, the MIUI forum website has recommended certain procedures to the Xiaomi smartphone owners. The consumers who are using MIUI V5 / MIUI 6 / MIUI 7 / MIUI 8 stable ROM had to upgrade their smartphones via a fastboot method. While for the MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM users, check the system update in the settings menu.

As we know that MIUI 9 is the heavily customised version of the Android operating system which comes with the feature like Smart notifications filter, Improved readability for the start page of Messaging, Revamped and simplified 50 features, Shortcuts for frequently used features on the left side of the Lock screen.

Also, the MIUI 9 is also enriched with attributes like Deep-level system optimizations, improved image search, Simpler Home screen editing, Smart notifications filter, Revamped and simplified 50 features, New icons, improved image search, Home screen editing, Shortcuts for frequently used features on the left side of the Lock screen.

To recall, few week back Xiaomi was sent the update for the second batch of devices like Mi 5c, Mi Max 2, Mi Max, Mi 4s,  Mi 4c, Mi Note Pro, Redmi 4, Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus. Whereas, the list of the first batch of smartphones are as follow Redmi Note 4X, Mi 5X, Mi 6, and Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm.
