The upcoming Redmi 4 will sport a 5-inch display similar to the Redmi 3 line-up. The IPS screen will have a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD). The leaked imagery also suggests that the forthcoming smartphone will also sport a fingerprint scanner. The scanner is seen to be placed just under the rear camera at the back of the device.
There is no information about the camera of the rumored device. It can only be said that the device will not feature any dual camera set-up.
The Redmi 4 shown in the image is seen to be sporting 2 GB of RAM combined with 16 GB of internal memory capacity. There should also be a version with 3 GB of RAM and double internal storage space, i.e. 32GB.
The speculated handset will run on Android 6.0.1 out of the box with MIUI 8 layered on top of it. There is no info about the pricing of the upcoming mobile, but being a member of the Redmi series, we can expect it to be pretty affordable.
