Hugo Barra, Vice President at Xiaomi posted through Facebook that Mi India has sold 6 lakh units of the Redmi Note 3 in just 60 days of weekly sales. This is the highest number of sales Xiaomi has been able to achieve in a stipulated period of time.

The Redmi Note 3 was launched early in March, with its first flash sale in the country beginning on the 9th of March. The devices were sold out within a matter of minutes.
The Redmi Note 3 is available in 2 variants- one with 16GB of internal storage with a 2GB RAM and the other with 32GB of internal storage and a 3GB RAM. The former is available for a price of Rs.9,999 while the latter costs Rs.11,999. Both variants come along with a 5.5” IPS LCD touch capacitive screen, run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset and house a whopping 4,000mAh battery inside.
The phones have a 16MP camera at the rear and a 5MP camera on the front, come with Android’s Lollipop 5.0.2 preloaded onto them with Mi’s MIUI 7.0 running atop it. The phones also come along with a fingerprint sensor although they are budget smartphones.
The Redmi Note 3 is available to purchase online in the colours of Silver, Gray and Gold and can be found at Mi India’s Website or on Flipkart.
