Sony XZ1 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB RAM

The most anticipated Sony flagship device XZ1 is spotted on the cross-platform processor benchmark website Geekbench yet again after leaking on the AnTuTu earlier this month. The listing reveals some of its key specifications and comes with model no. Sony G8341. As per GeekBench listing, the Sony G8341 handset scored 1909 points and 6459 points in the single-core test and the multi-core test respectively. Further, according to the listing, the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform (MSM8998) chipset clocked at 2.45GHz Octa-core, 4GB RAM and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

Prior to this leak, the Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 compact, and Xperia X1 have been subjected to numerous leaks and rumors in recent times. Some rumors suggest that Sony Xperia XZ1 will be a flagship device and expected to be featured with 5.2inches Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 3000mAh Li-ion battery.

While the Xperia XZ1 compact will probably be released with the 4.6 inches Full HD display, Snapdragon 835, 4 GB RAM, a 2,800 mAh battery and, the 19 MP Motion Eye camera with 960 fps SuperSloMo. Xperia X1 is expected to be featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM and 19 MP rear camera.

Furthermore, All these handsets are speculated to be unveiled at IFA 2017 Berlin launch event on August 31. Nonetheless, The Sony has refreshed its smartphone line up couple of months back because their previous offering is not to grab that market share as the company expected, their current offerings like Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra is performing quite good in global market and we hope they able continue the same success with these upcoming smartphone.
