New Delhi: Sony India has extended its Xperia family with the launch of its new flagship smartphones named Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium. The Xperia Z5 Premium boasts world’s first 4K UHD display with 4K Ultra HD upscaling technology.
Sony Xperia Z5:
Sony Xperia Z5 boasts a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p Triluminos display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit Octa-core processor and Adreno 430 GPU. The handset is packed with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card slot.
The Xperia Z5 sports a 23MP Sony Exmor RS rear camera with Hybrid Autofocus, and Pulse LED flash support. There is a 5MP Sony Exmor R front camera with SteadyShot Active Mode. Out of the box, the handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM Sony Xperia Z5 comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, NFC, Micro-USB 2.0 and a Fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium:
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5-inch 4K UHD Triluminous display with screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 806 PPI. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit Octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU, the handset offers 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 200GB).
On the camera front, the Xperia Z5 Premium sports a 23MP Sony Exmor RS camera with Hybrid Auto Focus and Pulse LED Flash. On the front, the device sports a 5MP Sony Exmor R camera.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium runs on Google Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with a 3,430 mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM handset comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack.
Both the smartphones are waterproof and dust tight (IP65 and IP68).
