Samsung has added one more Galaxy J2 to its kitty with the launch of Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro in India at Rs. 9,890 in black, silver, and gold color variants.
The newly launched Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) launched in early July with features like Smart Glow notification light on the rear panel around the camera lens. The device will be available exclusively via Snapdeal from July 26.
Commenting on the launch of Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, Manu Sharma, Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India revealed that the company is constantly working towards bringing meaningful innovation to consumers by integrating features as per the latest demand in the technology world.
Moreover, the Galaxy J2 Pro is loaded with Turbo Speed Technology to offer superior device performance, which no other smartphone will be able to offer at this price range. Sharma also disclosed that the newly introduced smart glow feature not only enables you to capture selfies with the rear camera automatically but also offers a fresh new design element.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro Specs
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro features 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. However, the previously released Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) only offers 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of storage space. You can expand the storage in both smartphones up to 128GB.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, which promises great looking visuals. Talking about other specifications, the Galaxy J2 Pro comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage paired with a 2600mAh battery.
While the rear camera in Galaxy J2 Pro is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor with LED flash, the front-facing camera offers a 5-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture. In addition to all other standard sensors and connectivity features, the device also provides 4G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro also offers the unique Turbo Speed Technology (TST), which has the ability to load apps up to 40 percent quicker than similar devices with twice the memory. Like other recently released Galaxy J series variants, Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro features S bike mode, which enables you to ride safely. The caller will hear an automated message that you are on a ride.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro also offers Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow paired with a new UI bundled with a smart-notifier. It also offers a refreshed app tray featuring vertical scroll navigation.
