Samsung has finally launched the much-anticipated Galaxy J2 2016 in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,750. True to the rumours, the smartphone boasts a Smart Glow notification ring at the back. The Galaxy J2 (2016) will go on sale on July 14.
Before we talk about the smartphone specifications, let’s talk about the new Smart Glow feature. The new notification ring informs users when the battery is low and also notifies if the storage space is full on the phone. It also helps in taking selfies as the notification ring turns blue to tell blue to notify users that the camera is ready to click pictures.
Coming on to the specifications, the Galaxy J2 2016 sports a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor, the smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone offers 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
Talking about the optics, the Galaxy J2 2016 boasts an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP shooter at the front. Fuelling the device is a 2600mAh battery. The phone comes with the ultra saving along with the S bike mode. connectivity options include 4G, 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
