Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has just announced their first smartphone – The POCO F1. The F1 sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, running the show is Snapdragon 845 with up to 8GB RAM and LiquidCool Technology. Just like other Xiaomi smartphones, POCO F1 runs MIUI with POCO launcher on top and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update in Q4 2018.
Talking about the optics the F1 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture portrait shots. It also comes with a 20-megapixel front camera with AI features and pixel binning. There’s an IR face unlock present which can unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds even in pitch darkness.
The POCO F1 packs a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging with 18W fast charger included in the box.
