OnePlus expanded its budget true wireless stereo audio portfolio in India with the introduction of a new Jade Mist color variant for the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r. The new shade joins the existing Aura Blue and Ash Black options right before major online festive promotions, including the Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Days. The original Nord Buds 3r launched earlier as a value-focused pair of wireless earphones, gaining strong market traction in the sub-Rs 2,000 price bracket across Indian e-commerce platforms. The fresh green-tinted Jade Mist edition aims to attract shoppers looking for personal audio gear during the Diwali shopping period.

Hardware Specifications and Sound Quality
The internal hardware of the Jade Mist variant remains identical to the original OnePlus Nord Buds 3r models. OnePlus equips the earbuds with large 12.4mm dynamic drivers coated with a titanium layer to handle bass and vocal clarity. Listeners can tune audio profiles via the companion app through the Sound Master EQ tool, which provides three preset sound profiles and a manual 6-band equalizer. Pairing the earbuds with compatible OnePlus phones enables OnePlus 3D Audio, creating a simulated spatial sound profile for movies and streaming tracks.
For hands-free phone calls, each earbud houses a dual-microphone system backed by artificial intelligence noise reduction algorithms and wind-resistant acoustic chambers. These microphones isolate human speech from ambient street noise, making calls clearer during daily commutes on public transport.
Battery Longevity and Connectivity Features
Battery endurance stands as the key selling point of the Nord Buds 3r. The earbuds and charging case together deliver up to 54 hours of total audio playback on a full charge. OnePlus secured a battery health certification from TÜV Rheinland, which verifies that the battery pack retains its capacity after 1,000 complete charging cycles.
The earbuds carry an IP55 rating, protecting them from sweat during workouts and light rain showers. Wireless pairing relies on Bluetooth 5.4, supporting Google Fast Pair for immediate setup with Android devices. Gamers can engage a dedicated Game Mode that brings latency down to 47ms, reducing audio lag during online matches. Additional utilities include Dual-device Connection to swap between a laptop and a phone, Find My Earbuds, and Tap 2 Take for snapping camera photos using earbud touch controls.
