OnePlus officially unveiled its newest addition to their flagship, the OnePlus 3 smartphone on June 15. The new phone has been announced in just one storage option of 64GB and is be available exclusively on Amazon. Interested buyers can purchase the OnePlus 3 at a price of Rs. 27,999 on the e-commerce website beginning 12.30 AM on June 15.
This will be the first of OnePlus’s flagship phones that will go on open sale from day one, where buyers won’t need an invite to make a purchase.
The OnePlus 3 features a 5.5’ Optic AMOLED display screen, runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset that clocks a speed of up to 2.2GHz where graphics on the new phone are powered by an Adreno 530 GPU kit. The new device will come with a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization as well as Electronic Image Stabilization and supports video recording in 4K resolutions. The camera comes equipped with Auto HDR, Dynamic De-noise, HD mode and support for RAW images to peak the curiosity of shutterbugs. The front of the device sports an 8MP lens which is able to trigger a snapshot by a mere smile.

OnePlus has additionally announced freebies along with the purchase of the smartphone. Buyers will receive Rs. 500 worth of credit on the Kindle app with a validity of 12 months, Idea network subscribers will receive double the data for 12 months and 12 months of ad-free access to Saavn Music Downloads and Exclusive Saavn Originals. What’s most lucrative is that the company will also offer 12 months of Accidental Damage Coverage through their ‘OnePlus Care app’, which will be powered by Servify.
