A listing on an Indian import information portal suggests that the Motorola Moto X3 might be coming to India soon. The import inventory on Zauba details some specifications of the smartphone, which are mentioned below.
As per the listing on the portal, the new Motorola Moto X3 is set to feature a 5-inch display screen. The Moto X Style came along with a 5.7” display screen, and Moto must probably be looking to release a new model with a smaller screen owing to rampant demand for it.
The new phone is also listed to have a 4GB RAM, again an upgrade from its predecessor, which makes sense since Android 6.0 Marshmallow requires you to have good power to maintain a friction-less experience.
It also seems as if Moto will continue to serve consumers with support for a single-SIM, not entering into the battlegrounds among dual-SIM device manufacturers.
One intriguing aspect about this listing on the Moto X3 is that the device is listed for a price of approximately Rs. 6,812. This makes us question the authenticity of the listing on Zauba as the Moto X Style, which is supposed to be the Moto X3’s predecessor, retails for a price of Rs. 30,000.
The fact that the listing mentions an entry-level price indicates that the details may be for an upgraded version of the Moto G series.
Moto released the Moto X Style almost 12 months ago. They are indeed expected to launch an upgraded variant of the Moto X Style, which will either be called the Moto X 2016 or the Moto X3. Whether the new phone will come along with the specs and price tag mentioned above will have to be seen.
