Motorola has released a 4G variant of its Moto G 2nd Generation smartphone in India. Pre-orders for the Second Generation Moto G 4G will start from October 15 on Flipkart. Customers can get the 2nd gen Moto G 4G LTE for Rs. 8,999 as a part of the Big Billion Days Sale.
With the spawning of 4G in India, the high demand of a 4G enabled smartphone must have coaxed Motorola to launch the 2nd Generation 4G LTE compatible Moto G.
The specification of the Smartphone is much akin to the 3G version. The Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) LTE comes in two different color options i.e. Black and White.
The 4G variant of the Moto G 2nd Generation has a bigger battery of 2,390 mAh while other features are almost identical. The Moto G 2nd generation boasts a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top.

Powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 GPU, the Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen.) offers 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The handset sports an 8MP AF rear camera with LED flash support and is capable of recording HD videos at 1280 x 720p. It also sports a 2MP front camera for selfies.
Out of the box, the device runs on the latest Android v5 Lollipop operating system. The Moto G 2nd Gen 4G LTE variant is scheduled to receive Android Marshmallow update in the coming week.
Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM Moto G 2nd Gen 4G LTE supports 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headset jack.
