Micromax on 27 June has added two new products to its Unite series: Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 7,499 respectively. The Unite 4 will be available via various channels while the Unite 4 Pro will be available on Snapdeal exclusively.
The company revealed that the new Unite smartphones are targeted at first-time smartphone users who can use the device in their native language. These new Unite phones come with Indus OS 2.0 that support 12 Indian languages, App Bazaar (which is Indus’ regional language app marketplace), Indus-to-Indus free SMS services, Indus Swipe feature, and more. Indus OS 2.0 also brings text-to-speech technology in six Indian languages. The best part about App Bazaar is that it allows users to download apps without using credit cards or email IDs.
Both the smartphones feature the currently much popular fingerprint scanner and come packed with dual-SIM support. The handsets sport 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is too early to tell about the delivery of such specs but, following are the specs:
